Skytop Shower

What defines a seaside lifestyle better than an outdoor shower? This client came to us with the desire to deepen both the functionality and the beauty of her property. Situated near the ocean, this family takes full advantage of playing in the saltwater and needed a way to close out their days with convenience.
With a background and passion for design, the client was invested in maintaining the aesthetic of the property. We worked collaboratively – iterating back and forth until we arrived at a design that fit the landscape and the functional needs of the client.
The outdoor shower gives a nod to the simplicity of the midcentury home and allows the user to feel a part of the landscape while still offering privacy. The Skytop Shower gives this family the opportunity to close out a beach day showering among the oaks and rhododendrons on a rocky hill in this seaside town.
